A small resin accessory of the Quickboost brand, made by Aires, intended to refine the plastic kit of the German Junkers Ju 87B-2 Stuka dive bomber in 1:48 scale. It replaces the plastic pitot tube with a finely cast part with a faithful shape and a slender tip.
The Ju 87B-2 belonged to the later machines of the early B version of the well-known Stuka deployed in the Second World War. The pitot tube measured the airspeed, and its slender shape is hard to reproduce in plastic.
Wash the mold release residue off the part, carefully cut off the casting block and glue it on with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the surface before painting.
This is an accessory for a kit, not an aircraft model. The kit itself is not included in the package.
