This late centimetric radar was hidden under a cover in the nose instead of the earlier rod antennas, and the casting captures it more faithfully than the parts from the box. The part is meant for advanced modelers with resin experience.
The radar antenna in the nose is a prominent recognition feature of late night fighters, and rendering it faithfully gives the model an authentic character. The resin casting captures the fine structure and clean shapes that plastic cannot manage at this scale. Once painted and seated in the nose, the whole area looks realistic.
