Kamikaze Tokkotai DUAL COMBO 1:48 — a limited edition from the Czech manufacturer Eduard containing two complete injection-molded plastic kits of Japanese aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
The DUAL COMBO limited edition from the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains two complete injection-molded plastic kits in 1:48 scale — the single-seat A6M5 Zero Type 52 fighter and the two-seat A6M2-K trainer. The package is rounded out with photo-etched parts and painting masks, and offers ten marking options in total (five for each type). The molds are new.
The edition's theme recalls the Japanese special-attack (tokkotai) units of the closing stages of the Second World War. The A6M Zero fighter was the main carrier-based fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy; the two-seat A6M2-K trainer was created by converting the Zero and was likewise deployed in the war's final phase. The box art depicts an event from October 25, 1944. The subject is treated factually, as a historical record.
Glue with liquid plastic cement, and fill and re-sand the joints if needed. Apply a primer before painting; an airbrush works best. Mask the cockpit glazing with the included masks; highlight the photo-etched harnesses and cockpit details with shading and a light wash. We recommend painting the interior before closing the fuselage.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
