A resin cockpit set from Aires in 1:48 scale, made to raise the detail of the plastic kit of the Kfir multirole aircraft in the C7 version. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory. The set replaces the plastic cockpit tub with a more accurate casting carrying an instrument panel, side consoles and a seat.
The Kfir was a single-seat multirole combat aircraft with a delta wing, based structurally on the Mirage family of machines. The C7 version was among the later modernized forms, with improved avionics and cockpit.
Wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding. Paint the cockpit with an airbrush and bring the instruments and the seat belts out with a wash and a dry brush. Test-fit the parts before the fuselage is closed.
This is an accessory for a kit. The aircraft model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
