Aires Lavochkin La-5 cockpit 1:48: a resin cockpit set with a detailed cockpit. It is not an aircraft model but an aftermarket accessory for a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin cockpit set from the Aires brand in 1:48 scale, intended to raise the detail of a plastic kit of the Lavochkin La-5 fighter. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory. The set replaces the plastic cockpit tub with a more faithful casting with an instrument panel, side equipment and a seat.
The Lavochkin La-5 was a single-seat fighter of the Second World War powered by an air-cooled radial engine. It stood out for its wood and metal construction and the well-glazed cockpit of the early production batches.
Wash the resin parts to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding. Paint the cockpit with an airbrush and bring out the instruments and the belts with a wash and a dry brush. Dry-fit the parts before the fuselage is closed.
This is an accessory for a kit. The aircraft model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
