A washbowl with a jug in 1:48 scale. A small accessory for a diorama that sets the setting and the period at first glance.
Responsibility details are not available.
A bowl for washing, in Czech called a lavor, and the water jug that goes with it, both in 1:48 scale. Before water mains spread into houses, this pair was part of the basic equipment of a household: water was carried in the jug and a person then washed in the bowl. In a diorama it suits anywhere everyday life is meant to show, that is a country house, a doorstep, makeshift quarters for soldiers or a field dressing station.
Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the rest back gently. Wash and degrease the parts before painting, so that the paint holds on them; use cyanoacrylate glue for gluing. If you treat the bowl as enameled, spray it light and outline the rim thinly with a dark line, so that the chipped enamel comes out. Darken the inside of the jug, otherwise the opening will look shallow. A drop of gloss varnish in the bottom of the bowl will suggest a remnant of water, but apply it at the very end.
For the modeler who is building a diorama or a vignette in 1:48 scale and is looking for small things not found in kits. It is exactly such objects that make a scene lived in.
A model, figures, paints, glue and a base are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
