The real subject

The M10 was an American tank destroyer of the Second World War. It was built on the chassis of the M4 medium tank, but it carried lighter, sloped armor and a rotating turret open at the top. The open turret roof gave the crew visibility and speed, but it left them without protection against splinters from above. That is exactly why the inside of the turret is visible on a model, and it tends to be the place where accessory sets pay off the most.

Building and painting tips

Before you start, lay the parts out on a tray with a raised rim so that small pieces do not get lost. Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder down, and only then try the part in place. Choose the glue to suit the material of the parts: on parts that are not polystyrene, super glue holds, whereas polystyrene cement does not work on them.
