With larger subjects Eduard divides its grouped packages into two parts, and this item is the second of them. It contains several photo-etched sets intended for a Martin B-26B Marauder model in 1:48 scale. Which parts fall to the first and which to the second bundle is given by Eduard on the packaging of each. What is certain is that these are accessories, not a model of the aircraft.
The Marauder was among the fastest American medium bombers of its day. It fought in North Africa, in the Mediterranean and over western Europe, and from the middle of the war it flew mainly from medium altitudes against transport hubs, bridges and airfields. A crew of seven handled tasks from navigation through the bombardier to the gunner in the tail turret, so the interior offers a modeler plenty of space to fill.
Roughen the photo-etched surfaces with a fine abrasive pad before painting and apply a primer meant for metal, otherwise the paint will not hold on the smooth surface and will peel during handling. Do not clog the edges that are to stay sharp with a thick coat. Belts and fittings stand out when you accent them after painting with a thin highlight on the edges using a dry brush. Let the finished parts cure properly before you start moving the model.
Without a kit of the bomber the package has no use on its own.
