A complete masking set from the Czech maker New Ware for models of the A-7 Corsair II in the D and E versions in 1:48 scale. The masks are machine-cut from kabuki tape (thin yellow washi paper), which follows the frames exactly, holds a sharp edge and leaves no adhesive when lifted off. The EXPERT level is the most complete one: it adds the inner face of the cockpit and fine details.
Degrease the surface and free it of dust. Lay the mask on and press the edges down so that paint cannot creep under them. The frames can be painted in two shades: the inner one first, then closed off with a mask before moving to the outer. Lift them off shortly after the paint has dried.
The A-7 Corsair II is an American single-seat subsonic carrier attack aircraft, used by both the US Navy and the US Air Force. The D version served with the Air Force and the E version with the Navy; its accuracy of attack and its long range were what it was valued for.
This is a masking accessory, not a kit. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
