The Matilda (Infantry Tank Mk.II) was a British infantry tank of the early Second World War, famous for armor that was exceptionally thick for its day. It was designed to escort infantry, which went with its low speed but high resilience. It became best known in the fighting in North Africa, where its toughness earned it the nickname Queen of the Desert. The Mk.III and Mk.IV versions differed above all in the engine used.
First assemble and paint the running gear before you attach the side skirts, which largely cover it. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic. Apply a primer and the paints with an airbrush, and apply the decals after a gloss clear coat. For desert machines choose the matching camouflage, pick out the panel details with a wash and finish the surface with dust effects in pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
