Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of a special version of the famous German jet aircraft in 1:48 scale from Cyber-hobby. The box holds gray and clear plastic, fine surface detail, finely rendered jet engines for a striking display and decals. The model captures the unique variant with the massive 50 mm cannon in the nose.
The Me 262 was the first jet fighter used in combat, powered by a pair of jet engines mounted under the wings. The A-1/U4 version was intended as a bomber destroyer: in the nose it carried a massive 50 mm cannon with which it was to attack formations of Allied bombers from a safe distance. Only two prototypes were built; they flew in the very last phase of the Second World War and never actually took part in combat.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. Finish and paint the cockpit before closing the fuselage. The detailed engines can be shown exposed, as if maintenance were under way on the airfield; discreet weathering of the metal and technical surfaces suits that well. Apply a primer before painting and put the paints on with an airbrush; masking film makes clean cockpit glazing easier.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
