A photo-etched detail set, Ki-27 Nate 1:48, from Eduard. Metal parts for refining a kit of the Japanese Nakajima Ki-27 fighter; it is not a model in its own right.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detail set in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It contains fine metal parts for refining a plastic kit of the Japanese Nakajima Ki-27 fighter, known to the Allies by the code name Nate. It is an accessory, not a model of the aircraft in its own right; what it contains is set out in the instructions in the package.
The Nakajima Ki-27 was a Japanese single-seat fighter of the late 1930s with fixed landing gear and an open or lightly covered cockpit. It was extraordinarily agile and was the main fighter of the Japanese Army Air Force in the conflicts before the Second World War and in its first years. It put the emphasis on maneuverability at the expense of armor and armament.
The parts are cut from the fret, bent along the engraved lines and glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The photo-etched pieces usually refine the cockpit, the instrument panel, the seat belts and other fine details. Degrease the surfaces before gluing and paint with an airbrush for an even finish.
This is an accessory, not a model of the aircraft. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
