An injection-molded plastic kit of the Messerschmitt Bf-109 G-6 fighter in 1:48 scale from Zvezda. The G-6 version was among the most numerously produced variants of the whole Bf-109 series and was used on every front of the Second World War.
The Bf-109 was the main German single-engine fighter of the Second World War. The G-6 version (Gustav) was notable for the prominent fairings over the breeches of the cowl machine guns ahead of the cockpit and for the option of carrying underwing stores or cannons in gondolas. It was powered by a Daimler-Benz DB 605 inverted V12 engine and served in large numbers from 1943 to 1945.
We recommend thin cement for plastic and careful fitting of the cockpit and the engine section. Typical schemes are in RLM shades with mottling on the fuselage, so an airbrush, a good base and fine accentuation of the panel lines with a wash all pay off. Apply the decals over a gloss coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
