The Messerschmitt Bf 109E-1 1:48 instrument panel is a color 3D decal set of the instrument panel and cockpit details from Red Fox Studio. The pre-printed parts with their glazed-dial effect lift the interior of a model from the Eduard kit with no hand painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
A color 3D decal set of the instrument panel and cockpit details of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109E-1 (Emil) fighter of the Second World War in 1:48 scale. A cockpit accessory, not a model.
The set offers pre-printed, fully colored parts of the instrument panel and other cockpit elements. The dials, switches and displays are worked out down to the smallest detail and every instrument is covered by a glossy layer imitating the glass of a dial with a realistic highlight. The colored 3D relief thus replaces slow hand painting and brightens the interior, which is what shows most once the canopy is closed. Even in the smaller scale the period cockpit of the Emil gains a three-dimensional, readable look.
Application is simple: separate the part from the carrier frame and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue, or with PVA glue (white glue). The surface can be picked out gently with a wash and evened out with acrylic varnish, and the part can even be bent or sanded slightly for a perfect fit. The set is prepared for the Bf 109E-1 kit from Eduard in 1:48 scale.
This is a cockpit detail accessory, not a model kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
