A plastic kit of the late German Messerschmitt Bf 109G-10 fighter aircraft in the WNF and Diana production forms, 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was the most widespread German fighter aircraft of the Second World War, and the G-10 version is among its last production forms. The power came from a liquid-cooled Daimler-Benz DB 605 inverted V12 engine, set in the nose upside down, that is with the cylinder heads downward. It is precisely that design that gave the aircraft its typically slender nose with a narrowed engine cover.
G-10 machines did not come into being in one place. The suffix in the name points to the factories the aircraft came from, and their products differed from one another in the details of the airframe. A modeler building a particular machine therefore watches out for exactly these differences: the shapes of the covers, small protrusions on the fuselage and the differing parts by which the individual batches could be told apart.
Try the assembly dry, remove the surplus material and the traces of production with a sharp blade and sand the surfaces back. On a small single-seat aircraft the cockpit is clearly visible, so it pays to give it time before the fuselage is closed. Mask the clear cover before spraying, not after. The color scheme and the markings of the particular machine are given in the instructions enclosed with the kit.
Paints, glue and filler are not included, unless stated otherwise.
