A model of the Mi-24D with an open cargo compartment looks empty; the additional tank fills the interior and gives it an authentic in-service appearance. The resin casting offers a faithful shape and surface detail that injection-molded plastic usually does not provide.
Wash the mold release agent off the part, cut off the casting block and clean the surfaces up. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), and sanding calls for respiratory protection. Set the tank into the interior before the fuselage is closed up; paint it in the interior shade and add a fine wash and scuffing.
