A cast resin landing light of the Quickboost brand for a plastic model of the Soviet MiG-17 fighter in 1:48 scale. This aftermarket accessory replaces the kit part with a more faithful casting that can be completed with a clear cover and so capture the real design of the light better.
The MiG-17 was a Soviet subsonic fighter of the 1950s that followed on from the MiG-15 with a revised wing and better handling. It spread to a number of air forces and was deployed in many conflicts of the period.
Wash the mold release agent off the part, carefully separate the casting block and bond it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). It is worth masking the clear face of the light until the end of the build.
This is an accessory, not an aircraft model. The kit itself and the glue are not included in the package.
