The MiG-21bis of the early series, Fishbed-L, is given a colored printed interior in 1:48 scale completed with resin parts from three-dimensional printing. The target kit: Eduard.
Responsibility details are not available.
The package aims at the last and most powerful production branch of the famous single-engine fighter. The colored layered items carried on paper cover the instruments, the side panels and the seat harness, while the printed resin parts add three-dimensional small items. Everything arrives in the shades the real machines had, so the time-consuming coloring of the individual gauges is done away with. The decals are shaped for the parts of the Eduard kit.
The letter L in the alliance code distinguishes the early series of the bis type from the later one, which carried different equipment for guidance and was designated by the letter N. The early machines were given the R-25-300 powerplant with the ability to raise the thrust above the usual level for a short time, a larger dorsal fuselage spine with fuel and a system for command guidance from a ground station. Production ran in Gorky from the beginning of the 1970s and the aircraft spread to dozens of countries; in some it still flew after the year two thousand.
Coat the base dark and let it dry perfectly. The item releases from the paper with water, is carried over with a moistened tip and pressed into place; firmness is secured only by a drop of glue. The resin parts call for the casting remnant to be cut off and for light sanding.
The package contains an improvement of the interior; obtain the airframe of the fighter itself separately.
