The chaff and flare dispenser for the MiG-23MLD in 1:48 scale, loaded version, is a resin accessory for building a model, not a standalone kit.

A resin accessory for building a model in 1:48 scale. It replaces the chaff and flare dispenser, that is the device for releasing dipole reflectors and flares, with a fine casting in the version with loaded magazines. The base model of the aircraft is not included in the package and has to be obtained separately.
In 1:48 scale small external items are the most heavily simplified in injection-molded plastic: on such a small area it is simply not possible to draw the sharp edges of the chambers out of the mold or to suggest the individual cartridges. A resin casting fills this gap and creates, on the spine of the fuselage, one of the few points where fine detail is visible even from a distance. The loaded version corresponds to a machine ready for flight.
Wash the mold release agent off the casting, cut the casting block away with a razor saw and level the surface with sanding paper on a flat board. A smaller scale means less tolerance: dry-fit the part against the fuselage first and fill any gap with a thin strip of plastic rather than with filler, which would swallow the detail. Glue with cyanoacrylate in tiny drops applied with a piece of wire. Set the cartridges off from the body with a fine difference of shade and a thin wash; in this scale a suggestion works better than drawing out every single piece.
This is an accessory for building a model, not a standalone kit. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
