An accessory for a model of the Soviet Mil Mi-24D attack helicopter in 1:48 scale, known in NATO under the code name Hind.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Mil Mi-24D is a Soviet attack helicopter, known in NATO under the code name Hind. It differed from Western machines of its day in that, besides its armament, it could carry troops to be put down in the rear cabin. The D version has the pilot and operator cockpits arranged in steps one behind the other under separate canopies and a trainable turret in the nose. The armament is carried by pylons under the stub wings. The type served in dozens of countries and is one of the most frequently built subjects among helicopters.
This is an accessory for an Mi-24D model in 1:48 scale, not a complete kit. Add-on sets of this kind replace or refine part of a kit, so the model itself has to be bought separately. The extent of the package, the purpose of the individual parts and the kit the set is cut for are given in the manufacturer's instructions; it pays to look into them even before ordering.
For the builder of an Mi-24D model who wants to go beyond what the kit offers. The model, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
