This item is not a helicopter kit but a narrowly focused accessory: a set of seat belts for the cockpit. The STEEL designation in the name refers to the belts being etched from steel rather than brass. Steel sheet is more flexible and holds a bend better, so a belt can be draped convincingly over a seat and left hanging loose instead of looking like a flat sticker. The parts are supplied in color, which removes the laborious job of painting them.
A seat without belts is one of the first things an experienced modeler notices on a finished model. On a helicopter the cockpit is also generously glazed, and looking down into it shows far more than on a fighter. Color belts create a point of contrast in an otherwise uniformly painted interior and lift the overall impression more than their small size would suggest.
Separate the belts on a hard surface with a sharp knife, never with pliers. Shape them carefully with tweezers in small steps; steel takes a bend well, but repeated straightening tires it. Do not paint them, only unify them with a matte clear coat once they are in place. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue applied in the smallest possible amount, ideally with a toothpick or a wire, so that the glue does not run onto the printing. Fit them into the seats before the fuselage is closed.
