The two-seat compartment of the pilot and the operator in the version intended for the Mirage 2000D. The set from the brand Reskit brings a cast tub, the seats and the side consoles; the instruments are handled by layered 3D decals, which give the dials and switches real depth. The rendition is listed as basic, that is without the extended equipment of the more demanding line.
The Mirage 2000D followed on from the type intended for the carried guided missile, but took over the role of conventional bombing with precision ordnance. The prototype got into the air in 1991 and the combat squadrons took the machine over two years later. It carried targeting pods and laser-guided bombs and struck over the Balkans, over Afghanistan and over the Sahel. The rear cockpit therefore belongs to the weapon systems operator.
The base under the decal has to be smooth and flat, otherwise the layers will not cling over their whole area. Once seated, let the decal dry completely and only then go on with the assembly. The seats come out well if you tone the belts a shade darker than the cushion. Only part of the interior is visible through an open canopy, so concentrate the work on the area around the canopy sill.
The subject of the delivery is the cockpit fittings, not a finished aircraft or its airframe.
