A paint from the Real Colors range by AK Interactive listed under the code RC893, volume 17 ml. The reddish brown earthy tone is fixed in the name by the number FS 30117 from the American color standard, so there is no guessing about which of the many browns it is.
A brown shifted toward red is among the shades from which the American army built up the multi-color camouflage of its vehicles. In a scheme it formed smaller fields, but it was those that gave the whole a warm cast that green and brown tones alone do not have. On a model a reddish brown is seen more than its area would suggest, because the eye reacts sensitively to a warm shade next to a cold green. It also comes into its own wherever a surface is meant to suggest rusty soil or brick dust.
