This universal photo-etched set holds fine rearview mirror parts for aircraft models in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but a small accessory that replaces coarse or missing plastic parts with faithful, thin etched mirrors. You can use it across many types of fighters and other aircraft.
The photo-etched parts make up the bodies and frames of the mirrors of the kind mounted on the canopy cover or the canopy frame for the pilot's view to the rear. Glossy foil can be set into the mirror faces, or they can be varnished in gloss silver so that they look like a real mirror.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and bend the small frames carefully with a photo-etch bender. They are bonded with a minimal amount of super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease before painting.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
