A resin detail set in 1:48 scale for more experienced modelers. It is not a model of the airplane, but an accessory, a gun bay, which refines the corresponding part of a plastic kit of the British fighter-bomber the de Havilland Mosquito in the FB Mk. VI version. It serves for rendering the space with the gun armament faithfully.
The de Havilland Mosquito FB Mk. VI was a fast twin-engined fighter-bomber of largely wooden construction, deployed during the Second World War for attacks on ground and naval targets and for precision raids. In the lower part of the fuselage it carried a battery of cannons. The detail set captures the open gun bay with finely cast parts and makes it possible to display the model with the armament open.
Before gluing, wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks carefully and sand the surfaces; protect your airways when sanding resin. Glue the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and try the fit to the base kit dry, reckoning with a little adjustment. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
This is a resin detail set for more experienced modelers, not a complete model. The matching base kit is needed to use it; paints, glue and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
