Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary Japanese army fighter in 1:48 scale by Hasegawa. The boxing captures the late production Ki-43-II version and offers decals for a machine of the 25th Flight Regiment. The package holds clear parts for the canopy and a decal scheme; take the exact number of parts and markings from the instructions in the box.
The Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa, meaning peregrine falcon, code-named Oscar by the Allies, was a single-engine fighter of the Japanese army in the Second World War. It stood out for exceptional agility and low wing loading, though at the cost of lighter armament and armor. The late Ki-43-II version received a more powerful engine, a reworked wing and better protection for the pilot. The Hayabusa was the most widespread fighter of the Japanese army and fought over the Asian and Pacific battlefields alike.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. Finish and paint the cockpit before closing the fuselage, and mask the canopy glazing. Apply a primer before painting, ideally with an airbrush. Japanese machines suit the green shades of the scheme; finally bring the surface to life with fine washes and, if you wish, restrained chipping of worn paint.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
