P-40N Warhawk – tail wheel bay 1:48 is a 3D-printed resin replacement from Eduard for models of this fighter. It is an accessory, not a whole model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set replaces the tail wheel bay of a model of the Curtiss P-40N Warhawk fighter in 1:48 scale. It is a 3D-printed resin part with finely rendered ribbing, lines and surfaces that a plastic kit simplifies. It is not an aircraft model but a detail set for increasing the realism of the lower fuselage.
The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk was an American fighter and attack aircraft of the Second World War used in most theaters. The N version was among the late, lightened modifications with revised armament and cooling.
Cut the part carefully out of its supporting block, wash it and bond it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the bay before closing up the fuselage: a base coat, the interior shade, a wash into the recesses and dry highlighting of the edges; finish with light soiling and dusting.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
