A set of resin landing flaps for a model of the North American P-51D Mustang fighter in 1:48 scale. It is a detail accessory to replace the parts from the kit, not a model of the aircraft. The flaps are cast in the lowered position with fine texture that matches the real state of a parked aircraft.
The P-51D Mustang was an American fighter of the Second World War with a long range, a bubble canopy and a Merlin V12 engine. On machines standing on the ground the flaps were usually lowered, which is a popular and realistic way of displaying a model.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with super glue. Check the fit into the wing before gluing and sand the transitions with respiratory protection. Pick the inner faces of the flaps out with a wash.
This is a resin accessory, not a complete model. The kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
