An aftermarket resin set, not a standalone model. It contains the defensive Berezin UBT machine guns with their mounts for 1:48 models of the Soviet Petlyakov Pe-2 dive bomber. The set replaces the simpler plastic weapons with faithful resin parts and tends to come with small photo-etched parts for maximum detail.
The Petlyakov Pe-2 was one of the most widespread Soviet twin-engine bombers of the Second World War. Defense was provided by 12.7 mm Berezin UBT machine guns on movable mounts, among others in the upper gun position behind the pilot and in the lower position. A faithful rendering of them markedly brings a model to life.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them carefully from the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Bend any photo-etched parts over an edge and glue them with super glue as well. Paint the weapons in metal shades and fit them only at the end of the build.
This is a resin accessory set. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
