An injection-molded plastic kit of the Polish light bomber PZL-23A Karas in 1:48 scale from Mirage Hobby. The box holds injection-molded plastic, clear parts, accessory parts and decals for period Polish markings.
The PZL-23 Karas was a Polish single-engine light bomber and reconnaissance aircraft from the middle of the 1930s. The P.23A version was an early variant used mainly for training; the later combat versions carried a more powerful engine. The type took a marked part in the defensive fighting of Poland in 1939.
Take care over the seating of the cockpit glazing and of the ventral gondola. Glue with cement for plastic and the accessory parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer before painting with an airbrush; for Polish schemes, khaki upper surfaces with a light underside and panel accentuation are suitable.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
