A resin detail set for experienced modelers, not an aircraft kit. The set replaces the cockpit in a kit with a faithfully cast resin interior of the American North American RA-5C Vigilante carrier supersonic reconnaissance aircraft in 1:48 scale. The Vigilante was a large two-seat machine with powerful mission equipment, and its roomy cockpit simply asks to be detailed.
The castings capture the tubs of both cockpits, the seats, the instrument panels with their glare shields, the side consoles and small detail parts. The fine relief of instruments and switches far surpasses the simplified parts from the box. The set is shaped for a matching Vigilante kit, with which it agrees dimensionally.
This is a resin detail set, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
