What the set contains

The set brings color three-dimensional elements of the SPACE range with tags carrying the words Remove Before Flight in black, in 1:48 scale. The elements carry a finished print as well as a raised relief, so painting them and laboriously cutting them from film both fall away. It is an accessory usable on aircraft and helicopters in general and is not tied to a single kit.

How the elements are applied

The elements of the SPACE range have no adhesive layer of their own. Moisten the backing paper under the chosen tag with a sponge and a drop of detergent, then lift the element with tweezers, take it off the sheet and lay it onto a drop of PVA glue (white glue); then press it gently with a soft cloth or a cotton swab. The manufacturer does not recommend super glue, and do not use a decal softener. The base has to be clean, dry and degreased, ideally with the finish already complete. Handle the rest of the sheet by its edges and keep it dry.

Where the tags come into their own

Streamers with the words Remove Before Flight hang on the real machine from covers and safety pins that are removed before takeoff, that is on the cover of a pressure sensor, on the safety pins of an ejection seat, on landing gear locks or on weapon pylons. On a model they therefore suit above all scenes of ground preparation, where the aircraft is captured with the crew and the equipment together.

The accessory will be appreciated by modelers of aircraft in 1:48 scale who are finishing a machine standing in a ground scene. The model, paints, glue and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
