This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains miniature warning flags with the inscription Remove Before Flight in the British form. It is not an aircraft kit but a detail accessory that rounds off the look of a parked machine. The parts are pre-printed, so the bold tags with their ribbons need no painting.
On real aircraft these flags mark safety pins, intake covers, landing gear locks or weapon pylons that the ground crew removes before takeoff. On a model of a British machine or in a diorama they add small but striking details of everyday operations. The pattern matches British practice and it suits aircraft models in 1:48 scale.
Separate the flags carefully and fold them at the marked bend, so that a tag printed on both sides with a ribbon is formed. They are glued with a tiny drop of cyanoacrylate or with glue for photo-etch. Place them where they hang on the real machine.
