Spitfire HF Mk.VII conversion set 1:48 is a resin accessory from the Aires/Quickboost brand that turns a plastic model of the Spitfire into the high-altitude HF Mk.VII version. It is not a stand-alone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin conversion set serves to rebuild a base plastic model of the Spitfire into the high-altitude HF Mk.VII variant. It holds the cast parts needed to rework the airframe into the form of this subversion. Please note that this is not a complete kit of the airplane but an accessory meant for a particular plastic model.
The Supermarine Spitfire HF Mk.VII was a high-altitude fighter variant of the famous British fighter of the Second World War. It was marked by a pressurized cockpit, extended wing tips for better behavior at great heights and a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine with a two-stage supercharger. It was committed to intercepting an opponent operating at great flight levels.
First wash the parts free of mold release residue, then cut off the casting blocks carefully and sand the surfaces. Do the gluing with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. Before fitting, compare the parts with the plastic model in question; the conversion calls for accurate work.
This is a resin accessory for advanced modelers. The base model, the glue, the paints and any other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
