SR-71A Blackbird MARKING — kabuki masks (1:48, New Ware) let you spray the national insignia and identification markings instead of using decals.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely cut kabuki paper masks from New Ware in 1:48 scale for the Lockheed SR-71A Blackbird supersonic reconnaissance aircraft. The MARKING version is made for spraying the markings: instead of decals you spray the national insignia and other markings straight in paint, so they follow the matte surface perfectly with no glossy film and no risk of silvering.
The masks are seated with tweezers according to the instructions and sprayed over with the appropriate marking color. Once dry they are removed and a sharp marking sunk into the surface is left. This is an accessory for painting, not a kit.
The accessory does not contain a model or paints. The masks serve for spraying the markings on a matching model.
