1:48 B-26C-50 Invader, glazing mask for the late version with a glazed nose from the ICM kit, a machine with an exceptionally long operational career.

Cut pieces for the glazed areas of the late Invader with a forward bombing station from the ICM kit. They help to separate the paint of the frames from the clear areas without measuring out by hand.
The Invader was one of those machines that outlived several eras. From the Second World War it went through Korea all the way to the fighting in Southeast Asia and in some countries it was still flying in the 1970s. Besides military service it also had a civil career, with converted examples fighting forest fires or serving as fast transports. The variant with a glazed nose kept its shape practically unchanged throughout, which is pleasant for a modeler, because one set of glazing outlines covers a wide span of versions and operators.
First polish and degrease the transparent parts. Fit the mask onto a dry surface, smooth the edges down and spray from the darkest shade to the lightest, if the scheme allows it. After lifting the mask off, look the edges over against the light; small flaws can be put right with a damp toothpick before the finish hardens. Heavily applied paint, by contrast, leaves a ridge along the frame that then has to be sanded back.
