A resin correct nose for the Sukhoi Su-15TM Flagon-F in 1:48 scale from Aires (the Quickboost range). An ogival radome for an accurate nose; it is not an airplane model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail part, not an airplane kit. The set contains a precisely cast correct nose (an ogival radome) for the Soviet twin-engine Sukhoi Su-15TM interceptor in 1:48 scale. It replaces the plastic nose with a more accurate resin casting matching the late version. The part is meant for advanced modelers with resin experience.
The Su-15TM in the version that received the NATO reporting name Flagon-F had, instead of the earlier conical radome, a differently shaped ogival radar cover that suppressed unwanted reflections inside the cover. The shape of the nose defines this version, and plastic kits do not always capture it exactly. The resin nose gives the model the correct silhouette and raises its scale accuracy.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
