The castings replace the plastic kit wheels and bring a sharper tread pattern and a better-defined wheel rim, including details that plastic usually has simplified by the mold parting line. The landing gear configuration changed on the Su-7 during production, so a split between an early and a later wheel makes sense. This is an accessory for a model, not an aircraft model.
The Sukhoi Su-7 was a Soviet supersonic fighter-bomber with a swept wing, known in the West under the reporting name Fitter-A. The Su-7B version was created as the strike configuration for attacking ground targets and became the basis of a whole series of further modifications. The machine was built for high speed at low altitude; its short, heavily loaded landing gear was therefore one of its sensitive points and led to later modifications for operation from unpaved surfaces. The Su-7 served with the Soviet Air Force and with a number of other operators, and it saw combat as well.
