The SPACE set from the manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale brings a color interior in the form of three-dimensional 3D decals and steel photo-etched parts including seat belts. It is adapted to the two-seat Spitfire Tr.9 trainer version, so it covers both cockpits. The layered decals give the instruments a raised, realistic appearance.
The 3D decals are applied like wet decals onto a cleaned, ideally smoothly painted surface. No decal softener or setting solution is used on them; they would attack the printed resin. The photo-etched belts can be shaped to the seats. The set replaces the laborious hand painting of the instruments and raises the interior detail without the need for resin.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit, not a model in its own right. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
