A resin detail part in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Aires, the Quickboost range. This is not an airplane kit but a set of underwing pylons used to hang stores. The resin rendering offers crisper detail than the plastic parts. The set is meant to be built into the matching plastic model.
The North American T-28 Trojan was an American two-seat trainer with a radial engine. The later versions were adapted for light combat and training duties as well and could carry stores on pylons under the wings. The pylons carried the loads between the wing and the stores hung from them.
First wash the mold release residue off the part, carefully cut off the casting block and bond it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Try the fit dry before gluing and adjust the surrounding plastic if needed. Spray the surface to match the rest of the model so that the part blends into the overall finish.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
