1:48 German clamps and tool mountings is a photo-etched accessory set for models you have already bought, not a model in its own right. It holds small metal mountings with which tools and equipment were held on the hulls of vehicles.

A universal photo-etched set from the Czech maker Hauler. It is aimed at small securing items, that is, the clamps, straps and clips with which tools and other equipment were held on the outer surfaces of the hull on German military vehicles of the Second World War. The set is not tied to one particular model and you will use it across vehicles of the same period and scale. It is an accessory, not a kit.
On plastic kits the tools tend to be molded in one piece complete with their mountings, so a shovel or a pick looks as though it were lying in a shallow trough. The real securing item, though, is a thin strap of sheet with a wing nut, with a gap visible under it. Photo-etched clamps open that space up. The effect is greatest when the plastic tool is cut off the hull, cleaned up and fitted separately, because it then rests only on the photo-etched mountings exactly as on the real thing. The set also makes it possible to leave some mountings empty, which suits vehicles with suggested wear or missing equipment.
This is a set of small parts, so the greatest enemy is the carpet under the table. Separate the parts with the edge of a scalpel and leave them on the fret until the last moment, so that they do not get lost. Work with tweezers with smooth points; serrated tweezers will shoot small photo-etch away. Dose the super glue as a drop on a tile and pick it up on the tip of a toothpick or a piece of wire; straight from the tube you will never get little enough. Make the bends around the edge of a razor blade. There are two ways to paint: either fit everything before spraying and go over the whole area with one color, or paint the mountings on the fret and fit them to a finished model, which is cleaner but calls for a steady hand.
This is an accessory set, not a kit of a vehicle. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
