This is a resin conversion set, not a stand-alone tank model. The set replaces the turret and adds parts so that the basic plastic T-34/76 kit in 1:48 scale becomes the model 1943 variant with the pressed turret from the Urals UZTM plant (Uralmash). The base kit is not included in the package.
The T-34/76 was a Soviet medium tank, one of the most significant tanks of the Second World War. The UZTM turrets from the Uralmash engineering works in the Urals had a characteristic pressed shape that differed from the usual cast or welded turrets.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Sand resin with respiratory protection. Assemble and paint the running gear before closing up the hull; for weathering use washes and pigments for mud and dust effects.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
