This is a resin detail cockpit set in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Aires. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for improving a kit of the Ta 183 jet fighter project. The set usually brings a cast cockpit tub, side consoles, an instrument panel and a seat with fine relief.
The Focke-Wulf Ta 183 Huckebein was a German jet fighter project from the end of the Second World War with a swept wing and a high-set tail. The aircraft got no further than drawings and wind tunnel models and never flew, but its concept influenced the postwar development of jet fighters. The kit therefore depicts a so-called project type that was never built.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate the casting blocks and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand resin with respiratory protection. The set is intended for more experienced modelers.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
