Panavia Tornado ECR 1:48 - a colored 3D-printed interior on decal paper from Quinta Studio will raise the level of the two-seat cockpit. This is the smaller variant of the set, completed with parts of resin. Intended for the Italeri kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
Quinta Studio supplies the interior details as layered parts printed directly in color, with paper for decals as the carrier. A flat plastic molding thus gains depth and legible gauges without the modeler reaching for the finest brush. The name gives the smaller variant of the set and the addition of parts of resin.
The Tornado ECR is a specialized machine for the suppression of enemy air defenses. It is based on the two-seat Panavia Tornado with a variable-geometry wing and a pair of RB199 power units, but it was given apparatus for locating and fixing transmitting radars. Its main weapon was the AGM-88 HARM anti-radiation missile. The Luftwaffe and the Italian Air Force had it in service and it was deployed, among other places, over the Balkans in the 1990s.
Sand the base in the pilot's compartment smooth, go over it with a color close to what the set is to carry and seal it with gloss varnish - then no plastic shows through anywhere. The parts release from the paper in lukewarm water, slide into place and are pressed down with a cotton swab. Do not use softener or setting solution; the chemistry will damage the printed resin and ruin the element. The covers of the gauges stand out when they are dotted with gloss varnish once dry.
The set is cut for the Italeri kit in this scale. The model, paints and glue are not in the box.
