Seat belts for the transport cabin of the helicopter from the set 1:48 Westland Sea King HC.4 cargo seatbelts STEEL. A photo-etched set of steel, printed in color and ready for shaping.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set by the Czech maker Eduard contains the restraint belts of the seats in the transport cabin of the Westland Sea King HC.4. The parts are of photo-etched steel sheet with the colors printed on, so they do not have to be painted, and once bent they hold the shape you set. It is precisely in this that the steel line differs from ordinary brass photo-etch, which springs back after being shaped.
The HC.4 version was the assault form of the British Sea King for the Royal Marines. It had no anti-submarine equipment, but it did get a roomy cabin for fully armed troops and fixed landing gear without floats. It was nicknamed Junglie, and British squadrons flew it over the Falklands, in the Balkans, in Iraq and in Afghanistan; the Royal Navy withdrew it in 2016.
Separate the belts with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface, not with nippers. Make the bends over the edge of a steel ruler or in a bending tool for photo-etch, and let the straps hang loosely over the seat pan and the backrest, so that they look soft. Attach them with a drop of cyanoacrylate glue; thinned modeling cement for plastic does not hold on steel.
The package is made up of photo-etched parts. Get the kit, the paints and the glue separately.
