A resin set of replacement main landing gear wheels from RESArm, adapted to the early versions of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 fighter (the A series) in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory. The tires are shaped with a flattening where they touch the ground, to imitate the way they sag under the weight of the machine.
The Fw 190 was one of the most important German fighters of the Second World War. The early versions of the A series were powered by an air-cooled radial engine and were marked by sturdy landing gear.
Wash the mold release agent off the wheels, separate the casting blocks and clean up the mating surface. Do the gluing with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Point the flattening straight down toward the ground. Paint the tire and the hub separately; bring the tread pattern out with a wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
