Eduard Westland Wyvern S.4 painting masks in 1:48 scale are a set of precisely shaped masks for spraying the cockpit glazing and other areas of a model of the British Westland Wyvern S.4 carrier-based strike aircraft cleanly. The model is obtained separately.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of painting (kabuki) masks from the Czech maker Eduard for a plastic model in 1:48 scale. The masks are pre-cut and self-adhesive; they follow the frames of the cockpit glazing and, depending on the extent of the set, other areas including the wheels. They serve for quick, clean masking before paint is sprayed. This is an accessory; the aircraft model itself is not included and is obtained separately.
The Westland Wyvern S.4 was a British carrier-based strike aircraft powered by a turboprop engine with contra-rotating propellers. It served with the Fleet Air Arm in the 1950s as a heavy strike and torpedo machine.
Transfer the masks onto degreased glazing, press the edges down carefully and cover the remaining areas with masking tape. Apply the paint in thin coats with an airbrush and remove the masks before it has dried completely, so that the edges stay crisp.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model. The model itself, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
