A set of self-adhesive paint masks cut to the shape of the glazing of the model of the Soviet Sukhoi Su-17 fighter-bomber in the M3 and M4 versions, in 1:48 scale. The masks follow the framing of the cockpit canopy exactly and allow the frames to be sprayed cleanly and sharply without laborious tracing. It is not a model and not paints, but an aid for painting intended for models of this aircraft.
The Sukhoi Su-17 (also Su-20/22 for export, known in NATO as Fitter) was a Soviet single-seat fighter-bomber with variable geometry of the outer wing panels. The M3 and M4 versions are among the later and most capable renditions with modernized avionics; the type served for decades in a number of countries.
Stick the glazing frames onto the clear cockpit canopy, press them down firmly and spray over them first with the interior color and then with the final camouflage. Take the mask off while the last coat has only just dried.
Paints and the model are not included in the package.
