Tucano T.1 – wheels 1:72 (CMK)

A resin supplementary set of landing gear wheels for models of the British Short Tucano T.1 trainer in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit but a detail replacement for the plastic wheels; the set contains the main landing gear wheels and the nose wheel with a finely rendered tread. The set is intended for the Airfix kits.

The real subject

The Short Tucano T.1 was a turboprop trainer of the Royal Air Force, built under license from the Brazilian EMB-312 Tucano. It served for basic and advanced pilot training.

Use

  • Separate the parts from the casting blocks and wash the mold release agent off.
  • Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
  • Check the seating in the landing gear legs of the model.
  • Bring the tread out with washes or a dry brush.

The accessory is supplied unpainted. Sand resin with respiratory protection.
