m/s Pilsudski, a 1:500 model from Mirage Hobby captures the famous Polish ocean liner of the interwar era.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:500 scale represents the Polish ocean-going passenger ship m/s Pilsudski. The model has a detailed superstructure, decks with an engraved planking pattern and water-slide decals. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
m/s Pilsudski was one of a pair of modern Polish ocean-going motor liners built in the 1930s for the transatlantic route. Together with her sister ship Batory she was the pride of the Polish merchant fleet and a symbol of the naval ambitions of interwar Poland. The ship provided prestigious passenger service across the Atlantic.
An elegant civilian liner comes into its own with a clean two-tone finish on the hull and a carefully separated band of decks. Glue the plastic with a thin cement; the small railings and cranes can be replaced with photo-etch. Build the hull whole on a stand and lay the decals on a smooth gloss base. Fine shades of white against a dark hull suit well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
